There is a peculiar clarity to the architecture of contemporary fast-casual dining. Nowhere is this more evident than in the interior of BurgerFi, where design does not decorate but arranges—modularly, predictably, with a precision that borders on the algorithmic. The space, neatly segmented between its material ambitions and its functional necessity, performs the strange work of making fast food feel momentarily aspirational.
